Fresh Peruvian grapes ready to be exported to India

Lima, January 22nd (ANDINA).- Peruvian fresh grapes (vitis vinifera) are ready to enter the Indian market after satisfying the phytosanitary requisites of the Indian government, informed the Peruvian Ministry of Agriculture.

In this way, India is added to markets like China, USA, Taiwan, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Canada, among others, where Peruvian grapes already have access.

It is estimated that Peruvian grapes exports will increase 10.4 per cent when compared to 2006.
