Arequipa to export 400 tons of avocado to Europe

Lima, Feb. 12 (ANDINA).- At least 400 tons of avocado varieties Fuerte and Hass will be exported from Arequipa to the European market until next June, reported today the chief of "Sierra Exportadora” government program of this city Aníbal Vásquez Chicata.

"The first 30,000 kilos of avocado were sent a few weeks ago which made farmers of Tiroque (Caravelí, Arequipa) very happy", he said.
