Lima, Apr. 05 (ANDINA).- The exports of maritime and continental fishing products reached 424,900 gross metric tons (GMT) in the first two months of 2008. According to the minister of Production, Rafael Rey, this amount has represented an increase of 10.9 percent compared with the same period last year.
He added that this growth was boosted by the increase of frozen products and fish meal sales, which reached 52,800 and 290,900 GMT respectively.
